On an update mission

I am on a little mission to update my past few years of travel adventures, food thoughts, and recipes in this blog section. All writing before today are written after today(ha sounds so contradiction).

I had an old blog I built in 2014 and it disappeared in 2018 when I was shifting content from site to site, all my writings were gone. GOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!

Despite that loss, those writings opened doors for me. They led to opportunities to pitch and write for publications like Skyscanner, British Airways, and Iberia. It's amazing how a blog can have such a positive impact!

I enjoy writing and creative writing, it tells tale, brings people closer, bridge cultural and knowledge gap.

On another note, I have a goldfish memory. The sake of writing does not only benefits my mindful wanderness but also a great nostalgia to look back on a cozy evening and on a rainy day.

I have more than five mille notes on my phone. I guess that’s what happen when you are an ENFP turned INFP.

Being bilingual adds another layer of complexity. Sometimes my brain thinks in English, sometimes in Mandarin, and now adding French as my 3rd language! Juggling these languages can be challenging, making it difficult to write consistently and efficiently in a wishful timely manner.

Hence, my goal for this new project is to prioritise writing in English first. Then, when time allows, I can translate the content into Chinese. Trying to write everything in both languages simultaneously creates a constant dilemma, and here I am, 1500 days later, with my notes still waiting to be transformed into stories. Caesar might even rise from the grave in surprise if he knew!

Cheers to creativeness. Cheers to living in the moment in enjoying life and experience.
